The Daydream

Have you ever had one of those moments when you find yourself daydreaming about doing something you wouldn’t normally do? Perhaps you’re sitting in class one day & thinking about just getting up & walking out. Or maybe you find yourself preparing to finally standing up to that person who’s really made your life difficult these past few months.

Whatever the daydream, there’s a part of you that’s really considering standing up & being completely, 100%, you. While these actions are often inappropriate, like calling someone four-letter words, it’s important to consider what’s going on in your head & to then ask yourself, is this where I want to be?

I’ve had my share of ‘action daydreams’ as I like to call them & if you consider what your thoughts are actually trying to tell you, you might just realize that this is not the place you should be. Whether they’re about your jobs, relationships, schooling, etc. you may need to consider where you’d like to be in 10 years. Most likely, with these kind of daydreams, your thoughts & passions are now elsewhere & it looks like it’s time to move yourself forward.

You are the only one who can truly make yourself happy by taking action in your own life. Life is too short to be unhappy in any aspect of your life. It’s time to start changing.

Are you willing to go the distance?
