Taking Action

Some may say that daydreaming is a waste of time; that it’s just like laying in bed in the morning and only mentally getting up to get ready for the day.

In my opinion, daydreaming is very important; but only if you’re preparing to attack. If you’re off in La La Land and not dreaming about something you’re planning on making reality, then I suppose it is a waste of your time.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I love daydreaming about everything that I’m currently working on, or planning on for the near future. It’s one of my most favorite things to do (besides making lists). I picture what the house is going to look like when it’s finished being painted, what my first single’s cover is going to look like, and what I’ll say when I possibly meet Kelly Clarkson. Daydreaming motivates me; pushes me; inspires me to do more.

The thing about daydreaming is that there’s a big part of you that wants that dream to come true; therefore, I suppose the question is not why you’re daydreaming, but why you aren’t taking action.
