Have My Own Website

In early 2010, after really looking into my life & realizing where I was spending a majority of my time, I slowly discovered that I truly no longer had anything to lose. I was free to be me… & the first thing I did was find a way to create my own website, eager to share what I’d been through with others.

It was difficult first starting out, because I knew nothing about web design. I spoke with a few people & ultimately chose an inexpensive platform called Weebly. And although fairly limited, Weebly was able to get me started and I ultimately switched to my current provider, Wix.

This quickly changed from a bucket list website to a blog & then so much more. The website was one of my biggest ‘healers’ when everything was going wrong. I focused on only the positive things that came within the bad & ultimately focused on helping others do the same. And it’s come so far! I have people from all over the world looking at my blog & reading the stories I write about accomplishing my goals. I’m inspiring people & this means more than anything to me.

Websites are fun & liberating. You can share what you want with the world with a click of a button. I’m certainly addicted – ask anyone.

Thank you KB for the idea of starting a website. I’m not about to forget that you are the one who suggested it – even considering all that we’ve been through

Are you willing to go the distance?

Amy
