Celebrate May Day!

Friday is officially May Day, & it has long been on my bucket list to celebrate what THAT means! There are various translations on how to celebrate May Day, depending on where you live, but one (the U.S. in particular) somehow came to be a day of creating May Baskets to leave on someone’s door step. The person who creates the basket, rings the door bell, leaves the basket, & runs away. If you celebrate it traditionally, in the event that the basket-giver gets caught leaving the gift, a kiss is exchanged.

What a perfect excuse to Pay It Forward!!! I remember celebrating May Day as a child for school, but I will finally be celebrating it again – this time with my own money & on my own time. Well, here goes. Here’s what I’ve created to celebrate May Day 2015. Where these little treasures end up… that’s for me to know & others to never find out.
